About the work
A narrow lakeside path winds between ochre and plum houses towards the water, where a blazing orange sun sinks behind the clouds and spills a golden road across the blue. Two wooden boats rest below a mountain turning blue at dusk, all built in thick, textured strokes. One of a pair with The Blue Land. Hand-painted in Morocco.
